Each selected shade in this design represents a historical area of ​​application for RAL CLASSIC—the very color collection that marked the beginning of the RAL color story.

The Future of Coloring with the Water-Based RAL K7

Produced using water-based paints, the RAL K7 offers precise color matching while simultaneously reducing VOC emissions during production. With a production run of 250,000 K7 units, this approach saves approximately 6 tons—or about 90%—of VOC emissions compared to traditional nitro-lacquer production. This corresponds to a CO2 equivalent of around 36 tons. It represents a significant step forward in terms of environmental sustainability. What makes the water-based RAL K7 color fan special:

- The colors are low in solvents and low-odor.
- The water-based varnish used is more UV-resistant than nitrocellulose varnish, thereby enhancing protection against color yellowing.
- The cover of the fan is made from 100% post-industrial polypropylene waste.
- The color samples are, as always, precise and color-accurate.
- All RAL color samples are produced in Germany and are therefore "Made in Germany."
