FARBKREIS . Tray . 38 cm . edited by muse
Inspired by color studies from Wassily Kandinsky's lessons at the Bauhaus Dessau.
Color theory and the study of the connection between colors and shapes were part of elementary lessons at the Bauhaus. According to Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinsky was particularly influential here during his time at the Bauhaus.
It wasn't about a fixed canon, but about experimenting with color itself. Our small product series for the Bauhaus Dessau deliberately shows different versions of anonymous study sheets from Kandinsky's color seminars.
