Preparing coffee with the MOCCA vacuum coffee maker is an exciting affair. The ancient process of siphoning your coffee combines art and science with a touch of gravity-defying magic. This attracts the essential oils from your coffee grounds and delivers a clean, balanced and tasty cup of coffee with a strong aroma.
The MOCCA siphon coffee machine, designed by Peter Bodum in 1956, was Bodum's first product. This version maintains the retro style of the original but is modernized with materials such as the high quality borosilicate glass pitcher and filter that does not absorb taste or aroma and the beautiful and sustainable cork handle.
This vacuum coffee maker uses a simple gas burner for heating, which works with normal lighter fluid and keeps energy consumption low. Meanwhile, the stainless steel filter ensures that the coffee is prepared in a truly sustainable way.
The most important features and advantages:
The product includes a complete siphon coffee making kit with everything you need to make a cleaner, richer and smoother cup of coffee. The funnel and jug are made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass, which makes the theatrical preparation process visible. The stainless steel stand with a handy and non-slip handle is made of sustainable cork. The preparation is environmentally friendly - without paper filters or plastic capsules. The gas burner holds about 70 ml of normal lighter fluid and is easy to refill. It is controlled by a handy turntable on the gas burner. Most parts are dishwasher safe.
Note: Due to our storage situation, the burner may be delivered separately. If you have any questions, please contact us!
